After the USA was formed in the eighteenth century, there was westward expansion and the number of states kept on increasing. The USA was responsible for the formation of UNO after World War II for the establishment of peace in the world. After World War II, the world was divided into two blocks––the USA and the USSR. This is popularly known as the Cold War. The war was fought between the USA and the USSR without using weapons. The war was based on ideology.
