Pyramid Puzzles or Number Triangles

The problems in this chapter are similar to the problems in chapters on number analogy and letter analogy. Here, the questions are based on either the numbers or letters given in the form of pyramids (triangles). The problems normally contain three groups of numbers or letters, referred to as terms, and one blank (or a question mark). The two terms on one side of the symbol ‘=’ (or : :) are related to each other with respect to their position in the pyramid. The location of numbers (or letters) of the terms in the pyramid form a particular shape. The two terms on the other side of the symbol ‘=’ (or : :) should also form a similar shape in the pyramid. By close observation of the shape formed by the terms on one side of the symbol ‘=’, the missing term on the other side can be identified easily.
