# Introduction

Graphics is one of the most interesting and useful topics in computers and C++ language. The goal of this chapter is to explore graphics information using C++ graphics.

While processing pictorial/graphical information on a computer screen using the C++ language, one needs to know the basics of graphics functions, different display adapters, the initialization procedure of graphics, and so on. In other words, a pictorial presentation can be done on computers with graphics by understanding the concepts described above. We can draw all figures of various shapes with computer graphics: lines, circles, ellipses, rectangles, triangles, and so on. Besides, nowadays, we are dealing with animation, multimedia, and so on, which work pre-dominantly using graphics. The intention behind this chapter is to interact with graphics using the C++ language in an easy way. The basic concepts of graphics are explained with examples. In this chapter, standard library functions are described along with illustrations. We will briefly study about computer graphics.
