As we discussed earlier, a sentence is a group of words with complete sense. No word is, or at least should be, used purposelessly in a sentence. In spite of the seemingly endless lists of words, the purposes they serve in a sentence are basically limited. Basing on these purposes, words are divided into different classes, popularly called parts of speech.
