Touch and Sensitivity

60 out of 97
(adj) giving or expressing pleasure through the physical senses. The most remarkable aspect of John Keats' poetry is its sensuousness. Sensuous poetry is that which is devoted, not to philosophical thoughts, ideas or emotions, but to what the poet perceives through his five senses. Keats describes his imagery so well that the reader feels that he can see, smell, hear, taste or touch what Keats did.
