What is the doc for absence seizures.? A. Ethoxsuximide B. Sod. Valproate
Ethosuximide in children less than 3 years of age. As valproate can cause hepatotoxicity in children <3years it is avoided. In adults its best to use sodium valproate
We say doc when it is available in all aspects but ethosuximide manufacturing is very difficult so it can't be made available at its demand
I think the question it's self is wrong it should be best drug
Ethosuxumide was doc in older days....
Sod. Valproate has replaced it nw ....
Bt still in some paeds age grp ethosuxumide is considered as doc
