Best books to learn C programming?
I learnt basics from 'Let us C' by Yashavant Kanetkar.
Well I Suggest Mastering C.
By K R VENUGOPAL
S R PRASAD.
I m using this....it's best to start with C.
There are far more than 400 Books about C, mostly english. If I should choose one, I would pick Pointers on C by Kenneth A. Reek.http://www.cs.rit.edu/~kar/pointers.on.c/ Most inspiring I found: Programming from ground up by Jonathan Bartlett.http://download-mirror.savannah.gnu.org/releases/pgubook/ProgrammingGroundUp-1-0-booksize.pdf Many modern books aren't that good, either you get paid for Coding or you write books. Many books are just copied & pasted, with slight variations. You should really get used to use a symbolic debugger like gdb to learn C.In many cases, you don't even have to bother the standard library.E.g. in Linux kernel development, there is no glibc at all.
let us C and C in depth
