Best diagnosis for ovulation is done by (LQ)
1. Eventhough laparoscopy is the gold standard, it is an invasive procedure with attendant complications and so should not be used for routine diagnosis but for cases were oocyte retrieval is planned.
2. The noninvasive technique with good sensitivity is ultrasound.
3. The evidence of ovulation is collapse of a follicle whose growth has been monitored serially along with fluid in POD.
