Leading questions are not permitted in: (LQ)
|A|| Cross examination|
|C|| Questions by the judge|
Thought B is also a valid answers, the better answer is D.
(Leading questions are the ones that suggest the answer in the question itself or which lead to an answer in a simple “Yes” or “No” only. E.g. “Was the length of the knife 9 cm?”- This is a leading question. The correct way of asking the question should be- “What was the length of the knife?” Leading questions are not permitted in Examination-in-chief and Re-examination. They are permitted in Cross examination but they can be permitted in examination in chief if the witness tuns hostile. So D is a better answer)
