Michaelis-Gutmann bodies are laminated mineralized concretions typically present within the macrophages resulting from deposition of calcium in enlarged lysosome. It is seen in malacoplakia. Similar lesions are also seen in the colon, lungs, bones, kidneys, prostate, and epididymis. In this conditions, there is presence of PAS+macrophages.
