OCP fails when used with all except (AIIMS Nov 11)
Ans. A Aspirin
- Aspiring is acetylsalicyclic acid and is not involved in OCP failure.
- Tetracyclins kill the bacteria responsible for enterohepatic circulation of OCPs.
- Phenytoin and rifampin are both potent enzyme inducers.
- These will naturally, accelerate metabolism of OCPs leading to failure of OCPs.
