Read the following information carefully and answer the given questions:
A reputed institute of Software Technology wants to admit students for its post-graduate degree course with the following conditions. The candidate must be—
(i) An engineering graduate with minimum 60% marks.
(ii) Not more than 24 years of age as on 1.7.2006.
(iii) Willing to pay a donation of Rs. 50,000 at the time of admission.
(iv) Willing to sign a bond for working with the institute for at least two years after completion of the course.
However, if the candidate satisfies all other conditions except
(a) (i) above, but is a Science graduate (B.Sc.) with minimum 70% marks, the case may be referred to the Director of the Institute.
(b) (iii) above, but is willing to sign a bond for working with the Institute for four years after completing the course, the case may be referred to the Coordinator-Admission.
(c) (iv) above, but is willing to pay an amount of Rs. 75,000 in addition to the donation of Rs. 50,000, the case may be referred to the President of the Institute.
Based on the above criteria and information given in each case, you have to decide the appropriate course of action. You are not to assume anything. All these cases are given to you as on 1.7.2006. If you are not able to decide the course of action for want of data, your answer will be ‘Data inadequate’.
Rachna has completed her engineering graduation with 64% marks in 2005, at the age of 22 years. She doesn’t mind signing the bond with the institute for any number of years but cannot afford to pay the amount of donation.
