Mixture of milk & water contains 10% of water, how much water needed to it to increase the percent to 25%?
Let us take we have mixture of 10L
so quantity of water is 1L and that of milk is 9L
Now to make the quantity of water to be 25% in mixture we have to add water in the mixture but the quantity of milk in the mixture remain same i.e. 9L
If we add 2L of water in the solution then the mixture increase to 12L
The quantity of water increase to 3L which is 25% of the mixture
So now 15%=2L
