Mass Production

It was one of the important features of the US economy during 1920s. The pioneer of mass production was the car manufacturer Henry Ford. He adapted the assembly line of a Chicago slaughter house to his new car plant in Detroit. According to him, ‘the Assembly line’ method allowed a faster and cheaper way of producing vehicles. The T-Model Ford was the world’s first mass produced car. Ford’s method was copied widely in Europe encouraging mass production.
