And for vessel 2 = 2y, 3y

Now amount of milk =(4x+2y)

Amount of water= 3x+3y

According to question we have to make half of milk nd half of water ie in ratio 1:1

So (4x+2y)/2 ÷ (3x+3y)/2 = 1/1

Calculating above u will get x=y=1 or any value

So 4x=4 nd 3x=3 similarly 3y=3 nd 2y=2

So ratio is 4+3:2+3=7:5

Milk in container 2 is 2/5 as per the given ratios

Now when we need 1/2 milk so using alegation above problem is solved

2/5-1/2=1/10

4/7-1/2=1/14

So ratio is 14/10=7:__5__
