Actually hamari govt ki policies or foolishness ki vajah sae dollar strong hai rupee sae ..jo bhi govt official problem btati hai vo sab hamae gumrah karnae k liye hai but asli vajah kuch or hai..bahi sab khel oil ka hai evrything is depend on oil..so conclusion is save ur oil save ur rupee save country. Well to start with, economics says, if the demand for USD in India exceeds its supply then its worth will go up and that of the INR will come down in that respect. It may be that importers are the major entities who are in need of the dollar for making their payments. Another possibility here could be that the Foreign Institutional Investors are withdrawing their investments in the country and taking them elsewhere.
The policies for FIIs in india may also responsible. The regulations and long time taken for the approval on investment, the growth rate projection of India by the world bank has shaken the confidence of investors in india's short term market future...
Now, we should not forget that the fall in rupee is not India specific, its part of a global phenomena where countries with large current account deficit ( the emerging markets ) have seen major fall in their currency... korea, Brazil, Turkey are facing the same thing since January 2013 that we are facing now.
